FAQs

What makes your practice unique?

We provide highly personalized psychiatric care with an emphasis on quality, privacy, and accessibility.

Who do you treat?

We see children, adolescents, and adults, offering comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, and integrative approaches tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

What types of conditions do you treat?

We provide care for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, school-related difficulties, challenges with confidence and self-esteem, and issues related to adjustment, relationships, or major life transitions.

In addition to these general services, we also offer specialized expertise in areas such as comprehensive neuropsychological testing, eating disorders, young athlete concerns and sports psychiatry.

Do you accept insurance?

No, we are a cash-only practice and do not contract with insurance companies. This allows us to offer flexible, individualized care without insurance restrictions.

How do payments work?

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept credit cards, debit cards, checks, and cash.

Can I use my insurance for reimbursement?

Yes. We provide a detailed “superbill” that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurer to understand your benefits.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Appointments can be scheduled directly through our secure online portal or by contacting our office by phone or email.

Do you offer telepsychiatry (virtual sessions)?

Yes. We provide both in-person and secure telepsychiatry sessions depending on your preference and clinical needs.

What is your approach to treatment?

We take a holistic and evidence-based approach, combining psychiatric expertise with attention to lifestyle, wellness, and creativity. Our goal is not only to alleviate symptoms but also to help patients thrive in their personal, academic, and professional lives.

Do you prescribe medication?

Yes. If medication is appropriate, we prescribe and carefully monitor treatment. We also emphasize integrative strategies such as sleep hygiene, nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, and creative outlets.

Do you collaborate with other providers?

Absolutely. With patient consent, we coordinate care with therapists, pediatricians, primary care doctors, and schools to ensure comprehensive support.

Where is your office located?

We are conveniently located in Greenwich, CT, with easy access for local families and professionals.

Is my care confidential?

Yes. We maintain the highest standards of privacy and confidentiality, consistent with HIPAA and medical ethics.

Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

Limited evening appointments are available. We do not currently offer weekend sessions.
