

Dr. Andrea Wegner is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 23 years of experience treating adolescents and adults with eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, and compulsive overeating. She has served as the Director of Psychology at the Wilkins Center for Eating Disorders in Greenwich, CT, for more than two decades, where she developed a deep commitment to helping individuals and families navigate the complex emotional and behavioral aspects of these conditions.
In her practice, Dr. Wegner also works with patients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, parenting challenges, and relationship concerns. Her therapeutic style integrates cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and psychodynamic approaches, allowing her to tailor treatment to each patient’s unique needs.
Dr. Wegner’s approach is grounded in warmth, empathy, and collaboration, creating a supportive atmosphere where patients can safely explore their experiences and develop strategies for lasting therapeutic change.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from New York University.
