The art inspiring us

Commissioned by the Yale Child Study Center, this group portrait of 15 trainees in child psychiatry, psychology, and social work embodies heritage, growth, and legacy. Created between 2020–2022, each portrait sitting included a narrative interview, merging visual art with personal reflection. Set amid symbols of play, learning, and diversity, the work celebrates the continuum of identity, shaped by community, rooted in history, and carried forward through future generations.
